Let’s get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Jun 8, 2016

Let’s get ready to celebrate our nation’s birthday and the community at the 17th Annual Fourth Of July Parade brought to you by the LAX Coastal Chamber!

The parade will take place on Monday, July 4 starting at 11 a.m. During the almost two hour event, 50 parade entries–from floats, marching community groups and bands–will make their way down Loyola Blvd. from Manchester Ave. to Loyola Marymount University. As in year’s past, the entries will be judged before the parade in the categories of “Best Overall,” “Best in Relation to Theme,” and “Chairman’s Choice.”

Parking is available on surrounding streets, but please be aware of no parking signs. Curbside seating is available along Loyola Blvd., and parade spectators generally start arriving at 10 a.m. to get a premium spot. Bleacher seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at 83rd St. and Loyola Blvd.

This year’s parade theme is “Our Little Piece of Paradise: Celebrating 75 Years of Westchester” in honor of Westchester’s 75th Anniversary.

For more information, please contact the LAX Coastal Chamber at (310) 645-5151.
