Local Easter Egg Hunts

Grab your baskets and get ready to search for candy-filled eggs at one of these local Easter Egg hunts:

• Celebrate the spring season at the Westchester Farmers’ Market on Sunday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 12. On Sunday, April 9, the farmers’ market will have a free petting zoo and visit from a fire truck from 9 to noon and an Easter Egg hunt and story-time from 11 am to noon. All day, guests to the market can enjoy community booths, Easter crafts and live music. The Sunday Farmers’ Market runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Westchester Triangle, located on the 6200 block of 87th Street between Truxton’s Ave. and Sepulveda Eastway. Continue reading

New Westchester Triangle Farmers’ Market sets Grand Opening for July 17

Community members will have  another shopping option when it comes to purchasing fruits and veggies now that a new Farmers’ Market is opening in the Westchester Triangle on Sundays. The new market is a collaboration between Westchester Vitalization and the Westchester Town Center BID organizations. Vitalization is also the sponsor for the Westchester Farmers’ Market that takes place every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westchester Park. Continue reading
